Sunday October 5th  

Pacific Grove is giving visitors a peek into its past with the 39th annual Historic Home Tour on Oct 5.

The tour will include six private residences and five public buildings and gathering places. These include Victorian-style homes, the Grace H. Dodge Chapel Auditorium at Asilomar Conference Grounds, the Christian Church at 442 Central Avenue, Ketcham's Barn, Point Pinos Lighthouse and Chautauqua Hall.

The self-guided tours are ongoing between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Docents will be available at each site.

Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for youths 18 and under. They are available from the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce (800-656-6650).

At Chautauqua Hall, visitors will find local artists selling paintings, home decorations and jewelry and an auction featuring homemade birdhouses. Details: http://www.pacificgrove.org/.6:30 – 7:30 pm | Evening Program
